Verification of Choice Eligibility & Incomplete Applications
Trinity verifies all WPCP applications per DPI guidelines. Applications that do not meet statutory eligibility requirements or fail to provide required documentation may be turned away or rejected in accordance with DPI regulations.
Procedure for Application Appeal Process
Under Trinity’s appeals process, a rejected applicant has five working days from the date of receipt of their notice of rejection to provide written evidence to the School Team that the applicant was improperly rejected. The acting Principal shall respond to the applicant’s appeal within five working days of receipt of the appeal notifying him or her of the acceptance or rejection of the appeal. If the rejection is upheld, any further appeal will need to be filed with the WI Department of Public Instruction (DPI).
Transfer of Credits Policy
Trinity will consider accepting school credit for the purpose of academic placement of a student from other institutions to the extent that coursework at the previous institution is documented and in accordance with Trinity’s academic standards as adopted under Wis. Stat. §§ 118.30(1g)(a)3. All final determinations for the acceptance or rejection of transfer credits shall be made at the discretion of the acting Principal.
